PM Narendra Modi: I can understand the need of any public sector enterprise if it is fulfilling the needs of any sector and of any strategic importance. It is the responsibility of the govt to supply support country's enterprise and business but there is no need for government to be in the business.

PM Narendra Modi: Many public sector enterprises are loss-making and several of them need the support of public money. It burdens the economy. Public sector enterprises should not be run because they were started many years ago and were someone's pet project.

Union Minister Prakash Javadekar: From March 1, people above 60 years of age and those above 45 years of age with comorbidities will be vaccinated at 10,000 govt & over 20,000 private vaccination centres. The vaccine will be given free of cost at govt centres. Those who want to get vaccinated from private hospitals will have to pay. The amount they would need to pay will be decided by the health ministry within 3-4 days as they are in discussion with manufacturers & hospitals.
