'BJP Has Looted Rs 1.5 Crores...', Alleges Priyanka Gandhi
At a rally today, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi claimed that the BJP government had looted Rs 1.5 lakh crore from Karnataka. "They (the BJP) have looted Karnataka of Rs 1.5 lakh crore over the past three and a half years." Bajrang Dal To Recite 'Hanuman Chalisa' To Counter Congress
A day after the Congress pledged in its election manifesto to outlaw the group, the Bajrang Dal has made the decision to hold "Hanuman Chalisa" recital concerts across Karnataka on Thursday. In its manifesto for the Karnataka Assembly elections on May 10, the opposition Congress stated that it was dedicated to taking tough and decisive action against people and groups inciting hate among communities on the basis of caste and religion. "'Dharma' is in danger right now, and the only way to survive is to stand together. "To defend the dharma, we should put aside our differences and band together," the right-wing group said in a statement. The Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) also endorsed the request.

PM Modi To Take Out 36-km Roadshow In Bengaluru On Saturday
On May 6, according to Bengaluru Central Lok Sabha member P. C. Mohan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi would conduct a 36.6-kilometer roadshow here. According to Mohan, the roadshow would swing through each of the city's 17 Assembly districts as part of the BJP's campaigning for the Karnataka Assembly elections on May 10. Karnataka Minister Slams Congress Over Bajrang Dal Ban Pledge
Karnataka Energy Minister V. Sunil Kumar criticized the Congress party's pledge to outlaw Bajrang Dal if they win the election, saying the action was taken to please Muslims. The minister said in a series of tweets that Bajrang Dal is not an anti-social group and that it works to defend the Hindu community and gomata (mother cow). The Bajrang Dal, whose state convenor was Kumar, described itself as a group of activists willing to make any sacrifice for the Hindu cause.
