Gurgaon: This is what frustration can lead to!

Frustrated over unable to steal high-end luxury cars, suspected auto-lifters set three cars "ablaze" in Gurgaon on Saturday.

The incident took place at around 3 AM in Sector-15 part-2 area, just 100 metres away from the civil line police station.

"We have received a complaint and are investigating the case to identity the auto-lifters as their faces were not shown clearly in the CCTV footage," said a senior police officer.

All the three cars gutted before the fire tenders could reached the spot.

According to a car owner Pankaj Singla, the CCTV footage clearly showed that a gang of two auto-lifters tried to broke the locks of cars and when they failed, they set Bentley, BMW and Toyota Fortuner on fire.

" As per the CCTV footage, two car lifters arrived at the place in a Honda Amaze sedan ... and they roamed for at least 45 minutes to ensure flames do not got off. Even a police PCR van crossed the spot ... but cops inaction allowed them to flee from the spot," Singla claimed.
