Muzaffarnagar: In yet another incident on murder in Uttar Pradesh, a BJP leader was murdered in Muzaffarnagar.
According to reports, BJP leader Raja Valmiki was shot dead by three unidentified bike-borne assailants in Muzaffarnagar on Wednesday morning.
Reportedly, three men on bike opened fire at the BJP leader.
A bullet hit him in the head and he died on the spot.
Police officials have reached the spot and are investigating the matter.
Meanwhile, protesting against the murder, irate people blocked the Delhi-Dehradun national highway at Khatoli.
The security has been tightened in the area.
