Patna: Bihar Police on Wednesday arrested a 2008 Ahmedabad blasts accused from Gaya district.

The accused has been identified as Tausheek Ahmad.

Ahmad and his associate Sanaah Khan were arrested from a cyber cafe in Rajendra Ashram locality in Gaya town last night after they were found making some objectionable post on social media, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Alok Kumar Singh said.

On the basis of information gathered from the two, another person Shahber Khan of Shahdeo Khap village has been arrested for giving shelter to Tausheek Ahmad, the DSP said.

Gaya Senior Superintendent of Police Garima Malik said both are being questioned by a police team.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) and a Gujarat ATS team are likely to visit Gaya to question the two, police said.

As many as 56 people were killed in 20 bomb blasts that had rocked the city on July 26, 2008. Terror organisation Indian Mujahideen had claimed responsibility for the blasts.
