Mumbai, Feb 03: Award-winning director Rituparno Ghosh is all praises for Vidya Balan and plans to make two movies with the actress. The beautiful actress was in Kolkata recently to appear in a celebrity show anchored by the director.
"Vidya has a classical Indian face like Nutan, Waheeda Rehman and Tanuja. I will start shooting my film with Vidya the minute she manages an empty slot from her busy schedule," said Ghosh. The director has planned two films, possibly in Bengali, with Vidya as the lead character but has not decided which one would go on floor first.

Incidentally, Vidya had made her debut as the leading lady in Gautam Haldar`s Bengali film ‘Bhalo Theko’. Her dialogues were dubbed but her performance in a low-key role was acknowledged and praised.

Talking about her debut film, Vidya said, "Gautamda had sent me the complete script and an audiocassette of the dialogues. I read the script over and over again to imbibe the essence of the character. By the time I came down for the shoot, I was ready. Soumitrada (Chatterjee) was extremely helpful."

Guess, Vidya should get back to traditional roles after flopping in glam roles - not cut-out for her!
