Mumbai, Feb 18: With her candid remarks and cheeky one-liners Kareena Kapoor comes across as a gutsy lass. But ask her do some ‘breath stopping’ sequences and the lady gets cold feet and we mean that literally.
The dainty beauty, who was seen performing some kick butt action sequences in the dud ‘Tashan’, apparently chickened out while doing the underwater scene for Sajid Nadiadwala’s ‘Kambakht Ishq’ at Goregaon Sports Club.
Buzz has it that it took Bebo six hours to get the scene right. Though the beauty made four attempts to give the shot, she came out each time looking petrified and gasping for breath.
In the end director Sabir Khan has no other option but to reduce the volume of the water in the pool. A news daily quoted a source as saying, "After the water was flushed out from the pool, Akshay and the foreign technicians working on the film, actually explained to Kareena how to do the scene. After that, she sailed through the shoot".
When asked as to what took Kareena, who is an excellent swimmer, so long to get the shot? A friend of the actress told Spicezee that the beauty was unwell.
