London: A CARE worker won a £2.2million Lotto jackpot - and told yesterday how she was so afraid of losing her ticket that she hid it in her bra.
Diane Hill, 43, and chauffeur boyfriend Bob Gould, 47 , checked their Lucky Dip numbers online after Saturday night`s draw and realised all six matched.
She said, "I didn`t believe Bob and tried to get on Teletext. To my shock I couldn`t work the TV.
"I put the ticket in a plastic envelope in my bra for two days. At night it was under the mattress."
Diane and Bob have six kids between them.
She said: "I haven`t told them yet. I don`t want them thinking `Great - Mum`s loaded.`"
The couple, of Feltham, Middlesex, now plan to wed in a quiet ceremony and throw a big party for friends and family.
They play the Lotto only once a month but matched numbers 4, 6, 10, 28, 35 and 39 to split a £4,407,550 pot.
The pair plan to continue working and Diane added: "I`ll still buy my clothes in Primark."
