Three teenagers critically injured in Srinagar blast

Three teenaged boys were critically injured in a powerful explosion in Bandipora area of Baramulla district today, officials said.

Srinagar, Oct 08: Three teenaged boys were critically injured in a powerful explosion in Bandipora area of Baramulla district today, officials said.
The boys, aged between 14 and 17 years, were injured when some explosive substance went off while they were arranging hay near their house at Chattibandi Village in
Bandipora, 55 km from here, they said.

Ishfaq Ahmad Mir, Altaf and Aijaz were immediately shifted to a hospital. Their condition is stated to be "critical".

Police suspect that an improvised explosive device was kept hidden by suspected militants under the hay during the night which exploded when the boys fiddled with it, they added.
