Three day Indo-UK colloquium on tourism at Kochi

Kochi, June 30: Kochi will host the three-day Indo-UK conservation and cultural tourism colloquium that starts tomorrow.

Being organised by the British Council and department of culture, media and sport, UK, the colloquium will bring together specialists in the field of cultural tourism who would discuss the very special link between conservation and tourism.
Economic sustainability of cultural tourism ventures and the impact on communities whose heritage is being preserved or made accessible by such ventures would also be discussed, a British Council release said.
