During Valentine`s Day, lovers gift each other heart shaped pillows, chocolates, cakes etc to express their love. So these too are a rage during the month of February.

Rose

A ‘Red Rose’ has been the most significant messenger of love. During the whole month of February, roses are so much in demand that people prefer to book bouquets in advance to avoid the last minute rush on the special day. But make sure that you show the right feelings to woo your special someone. A yellow rose stands for friendship. While, white rose stands for true love, pink stands for appreciation and dark red is symbolic for unconscious beauty. And a thorn-less rose means `love at first sight`.

Cupid

The love and attraction that a boy and a girl feel for one another is traditionally ascribed to the mythological god, Cupid. In Latin, the word Cupid means "desire."
