Mumbai, Feb 25: Actor-producer Suniel Shetty is keen to see Mumbai transformed into a super clean city - so clean that people can "eat their vada-pao off the road".
And to turn his dream into reality, Suniel is making a feature film, Mumbai Chakachak, about a squeaky clean Mumbai. He is also propping it up with a music video with a who's who of the city supporting the campaign.
Mumbaikars dream of a city so clean they can eat their vada-pao off the road instead of a plate. We filmmakers share that dream. It's a dream project for my company, Popcorn Entertainment, and one with which we hope to up the calibre of our company from entertainment to meaningful entertainment," Suniel told reporters.

"We'll promote our feature film with a music video featuring all those celebrities who share common concern for a clean Mumbai," he said.

"All the supporting parts in the film will be played by artistes and actors from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation's cultural wing. If we want a sweeper, it will be a real one from the BMC."

Rahul Bose, who plays a cleaning marshall, has already begun preparing for the part. "Piyush Pandey has written a fabulous theme song composed by a new composer Chiru. That song will be on everyone's lips once the video is out," he added.

The film also featuring Ayesha Dharker will go on the floors in the middle of the year and Sanjay Jha, who once assisted Mahesh Manjrekar, will direct it. It will be made with the active participation of the BMC.

The film is expected to carry forward the vision of 'Clean Mumbai' to outlets as far ranging as film theatres, educational institutions and public places.
