Allahabad, Jan 05: A sitting judge of the
Allahabad High Court Justice S K Agrawal, who was recently
transferred to the Jharkhand High Court, today resigned from
his post, court sources said.
Justice Agrawal resigned to protest against the judges
transfer policy, the sources said adding he was supposed to
take oath at the Jharkhand court by tomorrow.
Justice Agrawal was appointed as Allahabad High Court
Judge on February 5, 1999. Before his elevation to the bench
Agrawal was a practicing advocate in the Allahabad High Court.
