Shashi Kapoor Film Festival in Oman

Dubai, Sept 02: A week-long film festival screening six of the best films of Bollywood actor Shashi Kapoor began in the Oman capital Muscat.
The actor is currently on a visit to Muscat to attend the retrospective and interact with the audience sharing his experiences of yesteryears in the films.

The movies to be shown in the festival that began yesterday include ``Jab Jab Phool Khile``, ``Haseena Maan Jaayegi``, ``Diwaar``, ``Aa Gale Lag Jaa``, ``Junoon`` and ``Kabhi Kabhie``.

Kapoor, who called on the Indian ambassador Anil Wadhwa yesterday, is also scheduled to take part in `Unity`, a humanitarian initiative.

On September 7, a musical tribute to the legendary artiste would be held in Muscat, Indian Embassy officials said.
