Priya Dutt wants bro Sanju to take his own decisions!

After the much publicised war of words between Sanjay Dutt and his sisters Priya and Namrata, one of them is in the mood for a truce.

Mumbai, Feb 15: After the much publicised war of words between Sanjay Dutt and his sisters Priya and Namrata Dutt, one of them is in the mood for a truce but not before dragging in the media. “We simply have a little argument and the media says that the family is breaking,” says Priya in an interview to People magazine. Namrata, however, is more forthright about the apparent strain in the family.
Admitting that it is upsetting to hear about Sanjay’s life from the press, she also says that she hardly knows Manyata. “I don’t know her background and our interaction is limited to occasions. I would like to know more about her family, where she is from...” she says.

The tension in the Dutt family was highlighted with the sisters’ absence from Sanjay’s first wedding anniversary bash. Namrata admits that there are strains in Kumar Gaurav’s (Namrata’s husband) and Sanjay’s relation too. “We have to accept that things happen, and people grow apart.”

Talking about Sanjay’s political stint, Priya says that her brother can be a good politician, so long as he does not allow other people to take decisions for him. Maintaining that her feelings for her brother haven’t changed, Priya says, “I always feel too protective towards him, I have always found him very vulnerable. I know I should back off now. He is a grown up man.
