Parasailing launched in Rajasthan to attract tourists

Jaisalmer, Dec 16: Prompted by the increasing popularity of games like camel polo among tourists, adventure sport parasailing has been introduced in Rajasthan to attract
more visitors to the Thar desert, official sources said today.

The game launched yesterday on the sand dunes of the desert near village Chatrail, about 28 kilometers from here, is expected to attract foreign as well as domestic visitors, sources said.

Several tourists, travel agents and others were present at the launch of the new tourist attraction.

Sq. Leader A P S Kaushik, one of the organisers, said adventure sports would be promoted throughout the desert state including cities like Ranthambhore, Bikaner, Jaipur and Udaipur.
