Karnataka reaches out to international tourists

Bangalore, May 31: Karnataka tourism has launched a
television commercial to promote the state as india`s premier travel destination among potential tourists of South Asia and Persian Gulf.

Aired on BBC World currently, the advertisement
showcases Karnataka`s natural settings and rich heritage sites as "the stage", the diverse wildlife as "the cast" and the scope and variety of adventure and leisure activities in the state as "the script", Tourism Commissioner Mahendra Jain said in a press statement here today.

The traveler is invited to play out his dream role in
the "theatre of inspiration" wherein Karnataka has something to offer to every breed of traveler- from the nature lover and adventurer to a travel buff, he added.
