Mumbai, Feb 27: A pundit of romance and drama, director cum producer Karan Johar has roped in Saif Ali Khan opposite Bebo for his next flick.
KJo, who has cast Bebo opposite her real life sweetheart, appears to be going out of his way to mend once badly bruised relations with the reigning beauty of the tinsel town. The two love birds, who will be seen romancing on the screen in Tashan to be released in March this year, will also spark up the screen in KJo’s untitled film to be directed by Renzil D’souza.
D’souza, the acclaimed writer of Rang De Basanti, will be directing his debut film that is all set to hit the silver screen by the end of the year.
Kareena, who confirmed our reports, said, “Yes, I will be doing Renzil’s film which is being produced by Karan. We will begin shooting for the film in October. I am paired opposite Saif in the film. The entire film will be shot in London. I have a very impactful role.”
According to our sources, Kareena was earlier cast in KJo’S grandeur romantic triangle drama, Kal Ho Na ho, but walked out of the role after the two exchanged some harsh words. Bebo was then replaced by Preity Zinta, who won several awards for her performance in the film.
The two however patched up after Kareena openly stated that she was very much interested in working with KJo and would also like to play a role opposite Shah Rukh Khan.
Looks like luck is really shining on Kareena, as the starlet has got the KJo wish going for her, she may soon even be seen opposite Shah Rukh. Need we say more…
