Chennai, Jan 17: Veteran actor Kamal Hassan was today conferred with honorary doctorate by the Satyabhama deemed university here at its annual convocation.
The degree was awarded for his achievements and contributions towards the Indian film industry.
V S Rajasekhar, vice chairman University Grants Commission delivered the annual convocation address besides awarding degrees to more than 500 students of the university.
