New Delhi, Jan 06: The Delhi High Court today issued notice to prosecution on a bail plea of Siddharth Vasisth alias Manu Sharma, prime accused in the Jessica Lal murder
case.
Directing Delhi Police to file reply, Justice B D Ahmed fixed January 14 as the next date of hearing.
Jessica was allegedly shot dead by Manu, son of Former Union Minister Vinod Sharma, at a South Delhi restaurant owned by socialite Beena Ramani on the intervening night of April 29-30, 1999.
The trial of the case is in an advanced stage.
