Washington, Feb 26: Jason Statham has signed on to reprise his role as mercenary driver/delivery man Frank in "Transporter 3".
The actor will be re-teaming with co-star Francois Berleand in the next installment in EuropaCorp's franchise.
Joining the cast as a new comer will be ‘Prison Break’ star Robert Knepper, reports Variety.
Not returning however will be director Louis Leterrier who helmed the first two pics. He has been replaced by Olivier Megaton, the second-unit director on EuropaCorp's "Hitman."
EuropaCorp principal Luc Besson and Steve Chasman are on board as producers.
It is set to shoot for 16 weeks in Russia and France.
