Jammu, Jan 05: The Jammu and Kashmir police today
said they would seek a second opinion over the
Hyderabad-based forensic science laboratory's report that the
pictures depicted in the pornographic CD sent by state police
"did not" contain pictures of former Miss Jammu Anara Gupta.

"We know that Hyderabad-based lab has said that
pictures did not match with that of Anara in the CD. But we
will take a second opinion over it," Director General of
Police (DGP), Gopal Sharma told mediapersons here.

However, he refused to comment further saying
"whatever we have to say regarding the CD would be informed to
you soon."

In this direction, police today held a high level meeting
to deliberate over the issue and chart out a course of action.

The former beauty queen's family heaved a sigh of
relief after hearing the news that the lab had cleared Anara's
name.

"We had always cried out that Anara was not the girl, who
has acted in the porno CDs. She was made culprit by the
police. Now Hyderabad-based lab report has come to us as a
relief," Anara's brother, prince said here.

Prince, who along with Anara's mother, Raj Rani put
forward the cases before the National Commission of Women and
NHRC besides filing a case in Supreme Court, said, "God has
come to our help. We were ignored by all including our
relations. This report has come to us as god's gift to restore
our respect".

"But we will continue with our fight to teach police a
lesson. We have already filed Rs one crore defamation suit
against police," he said.

"We will also fight over the issue of our illegal
detention and inhuman torture of our sister, Anara and
mother in police custody," he said adding "for this Inspector
General of Police (IGP) Jammu Zone, S P Vaid and other police
officers should be severely punished."
