Mumbai, Feb 19: Once considered an offbeat actor, Irrfan Khan’s ‘Slumdog’ fame has made him an actor to watch out for. With a series of powerful performances in his kitty, Irrfan is just getting bolder in his choice of roles. The hit churner is set to deliver yet another jaw dropping saucy treat as he gears up to lock lips and get close and physical with Divya Dutta in ‘Hissss’.
Surprisingly, the film that stars bombshell Mallika Sherawat in a venomous ‘nagin’ avatar, will have the sober actors Irrfan and Divya getting raunchy.
According to the latest buzz, the two would be seen locking lips for one of the longest kissing sequences in a movie starring Indian actors.
Sources told Spicezee, that due to the length of the scene, both actors had reservations. But they were later convinced by director Lynch, who assured them to shoot the scene aesthetically.
A news daily quoted a source as saying, “Irrfan and Divya had to shoot for a scene which required them to be lip-locked for a long time. The scene was shot in Kerala sometime ago. Initially both Irrfan and Divya had reservations about shooting the scene as it was very long and passionate, and had to be shot in front of the entire unit. The director Jennifer Lynch instructed them to remain in that position and not to break the lip-lock until she asked them to do so.”
Justifying his passionate act, Irrfan Khan told a news daily, “Yes, we do have a very lengthy and passionate kiss, but it was the requirement of the script. In the film we both go through some crisis and the love-making scene happens after that”.
Hmmm after ‘Namesake’, Irrfan has done it again for the film’s sake.
