Indian short film-maker's entry gets Oscar nomination

Mumbai, Jan 26: Indian short film-maker Ashwini Kumar's "Little Terrorist", portraying the plight of a Pakistani boy who strays into India and finds shelter in a Hindu house, today earned an Oscar nomination in "Live Action Short Fims" category.

Mumbai, Jan 26: Indian short film-maker Ashwini Kumar's "Little Terrorist", portraying the plight of a Pakistani boy who strays into India and finds shelter in a Hindu house, today earned an Oscar nomination in "Live Action Short Fims" category.
The 15-minute film was screened at the International Film Festival of India in Goa last year. Ashwini Kumar, son of Delhi-based fashion designer Ritu Kumar, has done a course in film-making in London.
