Chandigarh, Sept 16: The Punjab and Haryana High
Court said on Tuesday that it would pronounce in a day or two its
order on Delhi-based businessman Ravinder Singh's anticipatory
bail plea in cash-at-judge's-door case.

Justice A N Jindal today reserved the order after hearing
the arguments for over one and half hours.

The case was registered on a complaint forwarded on behalf
of Justice Nirmaljit Kaur on August 13. Another Judge Justice
Nirmal Yadav has proceeded on leave after her name surfaced in
the matter.

Opposing the bail plea on behalf of the CBI, Anmol Rattan
Sidhu said prime accused Sanjjev Bansal's clerk Jai Parkash
Rana had stated that on August 13 he was present in the office
when he received intercom message from Bansal that a packet
containing money sent by Ravinder Singh has to be delivered at
the residence of Justice Nirmal Yadav.

Another clerk Parkash was sent to Bansal, who went to
deliver the packet containing money, but by mistake he had
delivered the packet at the house of madam Nirmaljit", he
said.

Punjab and Haryana High Court Bar Association counsel
sought directions to become intervener and charged that
Ravinder Singh was "fixer par excellence".

He said Ravinder Singh and Bansal were in touch till
August 16 but later Ravinder Singh "disappeared".
