Has Angelina Jolie lost her Oscar?

Washington, Feb 09: American actress Angelina Jolie has lost the Oscar trophy she won in 1999, according to reports

Jolie got the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for her role in ‘Girl, Interrupted’.

The actress had handed over the Oscar to her mother Marcheline Bertrand after the ceremony.

When Bertrand died in January 2007, Jolie recovered it from the Beverly Hills, California hotel her mother lived in, but it has since gone missing, according to OK Magazine.

"Angie doesn't care about awards. Sure, it's a great honour to win an Oscar, but Angie thinks herself as more of a humanitarian and mother than an actor," Contactmusic quoted a source, as telling the mag.
