Giles Coren wins Britain's bad sex in fiction award

London, Dec 02 : Beating NRI novelist Salman Rushdie and Tehelka Chief Tarun Tejpal, British writer Giles Coren has won the 13th annual bad sex in fiction award - the one prize writers are glad to lose.

writers are glad to lose.

The dreaded award is given out anually to "draw attention
to the crude, tasteless, often perfunctory use of redundant
passages of sexual description in the modern novel," and
carries a statuette and a bottle of champagne .
