Dubai, Jan 07: Dubai will organise an Indo-Pak mega film awards ceremony next month as a gesture of friendship to bring together the people and artistes of the two countries.

Dubai, Jan 07: Dubai will organise an Indo-Pak mega film awards ceremony next month as a gesture of friendship to bring together the people and artistes of the two countries.
The organisers of the 'Indo-Pak Mega Film Achievements Awards' have also pledged to donate all of the show's proceeds to the Prime Minister's Relief Fund for the victims of the recent Tsunami disaster.

Announcing the details of the award ceremony be held on February 17, Bollywood actor Sohail Khan, who is also directing the show, expressed the hope that it would bring the two countries closer.

The show would feature Bollywood stars like Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Fardeen Khan, Zayed Khan, Shilpa Shetty, Urmila Matondkar, Priyanka Chopra and Esha Deol, besides Pakistani stars like Zara Shaikh, Resham, Meera, Saira Naseem, Amjad Saberi and Soniya Khan.

According to the organisers, the show's main aim is "to honour and appreciate individuals who have contributed to the advancement of cinema both regionally and internationally."
