Diesel Loco shed awarded ISO 9001-2000 certificate

Bangalore, May 04: Diesel Loco Shed, Krishnarajapuram
of Bangalore division, south western railway, has been
awarded ISO 9001-2000 certificate for implementation and
maintenance of international standard quality system in
maintenance of railway diesel locomotives by m/s Tuv Germany.

The certificate was presented by Mahesh Kumar, divisional
railway manager to Sushil Chandra, senior divisional
mechanical engineer at a function at diesel shed, a railway
release said.

The shed has become the first to get the certificate
among the diesel sheds of central and southern region of the
railways, it said.
