Another batch of troops to be pulled out of J&K

Jammu, Jan 05: A fresh batch of nearly 400 troops will be de-inducted from different areas of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday, Defence sources said in Jammu on Wednesday.

Jammu, Jan 05: A fresh batch of nearly 400 troops will be de-inducted from different areas of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday, Defence sources said in Jammu on Wednesday.

In accordance with the Prime Minister's announcement last year, another batch of troops will be de-inducted from different area of Rajouri, Jammu and Poonch districts of Jammu region on January 7, the sources said.

The troop de-induction would take place from Tanda Army Camp in border town of Akhnoor, they said.

This is the sixth troop de-induction in Jammu and Kashmir, where nearly 8000 troops have been de-inducted so far, they said.
