London: An average adult forgets three key facts, errands or events every day, a UK study has found.
According to research carried out by National-Lottery.co.uk, around 15 million of Britons will today forget where they put the keys to their house or car.

Meanwhile, 12 million go to the shops only to completely forget what they went for - and the same will forget about wet washing in the machine, reports a news daily.

The study, which included 2,000 people, claimed that passwords, PIN numbers and chores such as defrosting food and charging mobile phones were among commonly forgotten.

More than one in 10 admitted forgetting to buy a lottery ticket, which may have cost them a win.

A National Lottery spokesman said, “Brits are busier than ever in their work and personal lives and it seems we just have too much to remember.

“Computers, phones and organisers provide support and can ensure we do not forget the important pieces of information we need every day.”
