Mumbai, May 01: The latest buzz doing rounds in Bollywood is hard to believe but appears to be true. Grapevine has it that superstar Amitabh Bachchan has reportedly refused to work with beloved son Abhishek in the much-awaited flick ‘Aladin’.
According to our source, ‘Aladin’ director Sujoy Ghosh wanted to rope in Abhishek for the movie based on the Arabian tale of Aladin and Genie. Sujoy had reportedly narrated the film’s script to Big B, after which he requested him not to cast Abhishek in the role, and instead asked him to cast actor Riteish Deshmukh for the same.
If reports are to be believed, the reason behind Amitabh’s unpredictable act is his desire to work with fresh faces in filmdom. While requesting Sujoy not to cast Abhishek for the role, Big B supposedly said that since he and his son are already working together in ‘Pa’, he is looking forward to work with someone else this time.
Well, that seems to be a real bad news for Abby Baby, because we guess Bollywood would not be as lovely a place to work in for him without his Pa’s support.
