Mumbai, Feb 16: Aamir Khan has always been loved and appreciated for the exceptional cinema he has come up with. And now the actor is reportedly planning yet another flick on a sensitive issue that of farmers’ plight in Bhopal.
According to our source, while searching for an innovative subject, Aamir decided to make a film on the critical situation of farmers in Bhopal, many of who even committed suicide.
Reports reveal Aamir has roped in Anusha Rizvi, a former journalist who has the actual experience of covering such incidents, for directing the film. The flick will be based on Anusha’s own experiences, as it will be the story of a journalist who fights for the right of the farmers.
Raghuvir Yadav will reportedly play the main protagonist. However, other main actors and the film’s title is yet to be finalised.
