New Delhi: One of the most talked about films in horror genre these days happens to be 'It'. The supernatural thriller has been directed by Andy Muschietti and is based on the 1986 novel of the same name by Stephen King.

The film released on September 8, 2017, and in mere four days has reportedly raked in Rs 1200 crore worldwide. Indian cinema's biggest films—Baahubali and 'Dangal' managed to collect over Rs 1700 and around Rs 2000 crore respectively so far, but 'It' has crashed its record according to khabar.ndtv.com.

The report mentions that 'It' has become the first horror film in raking in so much moolah. 'It' has earned Rs 1269 (198.4 billion dollars) in mere four days. The film was made at a whopping budget of Rs 224 crore (35 million dollars).
