Fifteen candidates filed their nominations for the November 9 Assembly polls in Himachal Pradesh on the third day of nomination filing on Wednesday, raising the total number to 27.

Susheel Kumar filed his nomination as the BSP candidate from Indora (SC) seat, Bidhi Chand from Fatehpur as Independent, Mujhesh Kumar from Jaswan-Pragpur as Independent, and Nisha Katoch from Dharamsala as the Savabhiman Party candidate.

Renuka Dogra filed her nomination from Kullu as the Rashtriya Azad Manch candidate.

Bhagwant Singh filed nomination as Independent from Karsog, Suraj Mani as Independent from Darang and Paro Devi as the Lok Gathbandhan Party candidate from Sarkaghat.

Hardyal Singh filed papers from Nadaun as Independent and Varinder Kumar filed his nomination from Haroli as the BSP candidate.

Vishwa Nath filed nomination as the CPI(M) candidate and Virender Kumar as the Lok Gathbandhan Party candidate from Nahan.

Roshan Lal filed nomination as Independent from Theog, Lokinder Singh as Independent from Jubbal-Kotkhai and Vivek Kashyap from Rampur as the CPI(M) candidate.

The last date for filing of nomination is October 23.

Election to the 68-member Himachal Pradesh Assembly will be held on November 9 and the results will be declared on December 18.
