Earthquake of magnitute 4.1 hits Himachal Pradesh's Kinnaur

SHIMLA: A moderate intensity earthquake of magnitude 4.1 hit Himachal Pradesh at around 4:21 pm on Monday.

No loss of life or destruction of property has been was reported so far.

Tremors lasted a few seconds in the tribal Kinnaur district and adjoining areas, an official of the local Met department said.

The epicentre of the quake was traced to the district, about 114 km from state capital Shimla.
