New Delhi: Egyptian Eman Ahmed, who was once believed to be the heaviest woman in the world, is on the road to recovery and that too swiftly.

The 36-year-old who was brought to Mumbai's Saifee hospital from her hometown in Cairo for weight loss treatment and later shifted to Burjeel Hospital in Abu Dhabi following controversies, can now can now open a water bottle, play with a ball and talk to her doctors.

Sharing a video of the former “world’s heaviest woman”, doctors of Burjeel Hospital said she was continuing her “streak of miraculous recovery and healing three times faster than they planned”.

She is now able to raise her right arm (against gravity) since her first stroke two years ago.

Also, instead of being fed through a food pipe, she has been eating normally for the past three months, helping herself to almost half of each meal all by herself.
