New Delhi: Who doesn't like to eat french fries? Well, everybody loves to eat the crispy fries, but do you know that eating too much of this fast food can be dangerous for health?

According to a report in Daily Mail, researchers have found that eating french fries may increase the risk of death.

A new study has revealed that people who ate fried potatoes more than twice a week are at doubled the risk of death.

For the study, researchers tracked the eating habits of 4,440 people ages 45-79 for eight years.

It was noted that 236 participants died by the end of study.

Researchers found that the participants who ate fried potatoes twice a week or more had double the risk of early death than those who did not eat fried potatoes at all, as per reports.

As per the reports, the study doesn’t prove that eating fried potatoes kills people, but it just shows that people who died during the study were more likely to eat fried potatoes more regularly.

The study has found a link between consumption of fried potatoes and higher risk of death.
