A report says that the doctors failed to exercise reasonable degree of skill, knowledge and care which are expected of an prudent doctor in treatment of patients.

 New Delhi: Two doctors in the national capital have lost their license's for six months after they operated on patients wrong foot.

The Delhi Medical council barred the two doctors from practising after they performed the surgery on the wrong foor on a 24-year-old man.

 

A report says that the doctors failed to exercise reasonable degree of skill, knowledge and care which are expected of an prudent doctor in treatment of patients.

Ravi Rai, had fractured his right foot after slipping on a staircase in June last year, following which he was rushed to Fortis hospital in Shalimar bagh here.
