New Delhi: Hitting back at BJP lawmaker Ashwini Kumar Chopra, Haryanvi singer and dancer Sapna Choudhary said on Monday that she had a good image. She also said that her work was her duty and she would continue to do it.

The BJP MP had called Sapna a 'thumke lagane wali' and had taken potshots at the Congress over rumours of the artist joining the grand old party. He had also said that the Congress must decide what is more important to them, winning elections or 'thumkas' (dance moves). "Congress already has people who dance and that's enough. The party needs to prioritise what they want to do, whether they want to dance or win an election," Chopra had said.

"I have a good image. I don't know which image of Bollywood the MP is talking about... it's not right to say anything about anybody without knowing that person," Sapna said, adding, "Ashwini Chopra must be watching my dances, that is why he passed that remark. I would like to thank him."

"The Congress has placed some offers before me. If I like it, I will think about it, but as of now, I have not taken any decision... I went to the Congress office as they called me, if the BJP too calls me I will go and meet them," she further said.

Sapna had on Friday visited the Congress headquarters in New Delhi seeking time to meet the UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi. She had expressed her keenness towards the Congress and Sonia, which has raised speculations about her joining the party in the near future.

The Haryanvi dancer had made headlines after her appearance on season 11 of the reality show 'Bigg Boss'. She was last seen in a dance number in the film 'Veerey ki Wedding'.
