There's a small but beautiful town in Ramanathpuram District of Tamil Nadu called Rameswaram. Yes, as the name signifies – the place is adorned with a lot of temples and is sure to rekindle your faith in Lord Rama and Ramayana. The greatest thing about this place from a traveler's point of view is its pure, scenic beauty, minus the commotion of city life.

Whether it is the serene, clean beaches, the colourful boats, utterly simplified life of the locals, or the less-crowded temples, Rameswaram promises to bring the traveler in you to a new front. Welcome these beauties with an open arm. Not to mention the fact that one of the char dhams in India is located here - Ramanathaswamy Temple.

Here's a list of places you can visit here.
