Los Angeles: While the news of singer Avril Lavigne splitting from her husband Chad Kroeger may have left some fans shocked, the songstress is reportedly doing good after ending her two years marriage.
A source close to the Canadian singer says the couple had decided to split but were working on the ways to break the news, reported E!online.
"Honestly, she's doing ok. This has been in the works for awhile, but they needed some time to figure out how to break the news," the source said.
"Chad is being supportive. At the end of the day, they just didn't see eye to eye on a lot of things... Their friends and their social circles never really mixed," the insider added. Revealing the condition of the 30-year-old singer the source said, "Avril is still sick, so she's not working much - just here and there. It's been a tough year. But these days, she's living in LA and has a very close, supportive group of friends. She's focused on her recovery but she knows it's going to take time."
