New Delhi: Reports of actor Vidyut Jamwal starring in the Marathi remake of Zac Efron starrer `17 Again` have been quashed by the actor himself.

There were reports in a leading daily that the `Commando` star may be starring in a remake helmed by Chandrakant Kulkarni and may also star Sachin Khedekar and Sonali Kulkarni.

The actor posted on his official Facebook page, "Please don`t rely on rumors and unverified news stories. I`m NOT doing any Marathi film as of now. If ever something happens, you`ll know it from me."

The actor who has made his mark in the industry as the next action hero has previously starred in many hit regional movies such as `Thupakki` which was remade into the multi crore grosser `Kick` by Sajid Nadiadwala.

He is scheduled to star in the sequel to `Commando` soon.

It would indeed have been interesting to see the hunk starring in a remake of the Hollywood comedy. We hope that he does look at such projects soon.
