Mumbai: The motion poster of Vidya Balan’s debut Marathi film – ‘Ekk Albela’ – has been unveiled. The very talented actress, who essays the role of Hindi Cinema’s legendary diva – Geeta Bali – in the film, will take us back in time with her classic look.

Reportedly based on the life of legendary actor Bhagwan Dada, ‘Ekk Albela’ stars Mangesh Desai in the titular role. Directed by Shekhar Sartandel and produced by Dr. Monish Babre, the film is slated to release on June 24.
Set in the backdrop of the Hindi film industry of the 1930 – 1951, ‘Ekk Albela’ will have a few dialogues in Hindi. It is also being said that two classic songs – ‘Shola Jo Bhadke’ and ‘Bholi Surat Dil Ke Khote’ have been incorporated in the film.
