Itanagar: An action-packed romance, dealing with the topic of extra-marital relations, is now all set to release in Arunachal Pradesh and other parts of the country in local Nyishi language with sub titles.

Directed by well-known local film maker Shambo Flago, who so far produced six films, the 150-minute movie retains the typical flavour of the Northeast region with haunting local melodies.

The shooting of the film, which tackles the issue of extra marital relationship having made inroads in Arunachal society as well, was wrapped up in a record 23 days time.

"We are expecting a big response from the people of the state as the film is a departure from the past and set to give a new taste to the audience. The film deals with a social issue," producer Chopa Cheda said.

The story line of the film revolves around an engineer N Tapi, who was sacked from service owing to frequent absentions from work apparently due to extra-marital relations with a young girl.

"It's a potpouri of romance, comedy and tragedy with situational melody songs," Flago said. The film is in high definition with dolby digital effect.

With known local faces Nabam Sonil and Taba Reema in the lead roles, the film also showcased new talents Tab Mona, Talo Babing, Rana Konya and child artist Pungyeng Cheda besides popular local singers Nabam Tateji, Toko Yappa Welly, Flago Pema and Nabam Abo.

The director said, "I am satisfied to direct the film with a set of artists who did not even have the basic knowledge of giving expressions before the camera." He added the entertainment sector could prosper in Arunachal with film artists having proper talents and photogenic looks.

While appreciating the producers for their support, he said that in Arunachal producers generally opted to give financial backing only without bothering to know the pros and cons of the film but the producer of his film took abiding interest throughout the shooting phase.

"I hope that a few more producers like him in the state will surely take the entertainment industry to a new dimension in Arunachal Pradesh, Flago added about the nascent industry's potential.

Lead actor Nabam Sonil said, I am excited and waiting eagerly for the release of the film." Taba Reema, the lead female character of the film, who worked in several video albums and films, revealed that she had a new experience.
