Chennai: Actor Kabir Duhan Singh will lock horns with Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar in his yet untitled 56th film in the language.

"Kabir has been signed on to play the antagonist. He will join the sets in June and shoot non-stop to complete his portions," a source from the film's unit said.

To be directed by Siva, the film features Shruti Haasan as Ajith's heroine.

Lakshmi Menon is most likely to play Ajith's sister, while the rest of the cast is yet to be finalised.

The film is set to go on floors in May.

Last seen in Telugu actioner ‘Jil’; Kabir has signed the yet-untitled Telugu remakes of Tamil hits ‘Sundarapandian’ and ‘Maan Karate’. He will be playing the baddie in both the films.
