New Delhi: Tamil actor Dhanush’s latest song ‘Kolaveri Di’ has become a rage of sorts amongst the youth of the country. Rajnikanth’s son-in-law has rendered his voice to the song which went viral a few weeks back.
The song which is a soundtrack from Dhanush and Shruti Haasan starrer ‘3’ was leaked online a few days back. However, actor Dhanush clarified that it was only part of the actual song and soon released the original version. ‘3’ directed by Dhanush’s wife Aishwarya (daughter of Rajnikanth) is being touted as a big release down south.
Ever since its ‘release’ on the internet, the song has been doing extremely well and has become an instant hit not only down south but also in northern India.
Debutant composer Anirudh is elated with the song becoming an instant hit amongst the youth for its catchy lyrics which incidentally have been written by Dhanush himself.
Speaking to a daily, a young fan said, "The song is fab. Dhanush sure knows how to give youth songs that they like."
The National Award winning actor has also sung some songs in ‘Mayakkam Enna’ which is slated to release this week. And with the success of ‘Kolaveri Di’ looks like Dhanush has an alternate profession ready for himself!
