Ringo Starr feels Beatles could have reunited

London: The Beatles former member Ringo Starr has expressed his regret over the band's failure to reunite after their split in 1970.

The famous English drummer said that they still had the songs that they could play together, but things didn't work out well and they never had a reunion and he felt shameful about it, the Daily Express reported.

The 74-year-old drummer added that Sir Paul McCartney, John Lennon and George Harrison were bad at communicating with each other post-split, when there was a ray of hope that the reunion could have happened.

Starr also informed that before splitting they tried several times to sort out their issues and embark on another tour as Sid Bernstein offered them 154 million pounds in 1976 to a 1979 concert proposed by the United Nations to raise money for Vietnamese refugees, but nothing actually helped.
