Los Angeles: Pop diva Beyonce dropped a brand new single titled 'Formation' on Saturday. Produced by Mike WiLL Made-It and Apluss, the song is the 34-year-old singer's first new track since 2014's '7/11', said The Hollywood Reporter.
The music video, shot primarily in New Orleans, also features a cameo from Beyonce and Jay Z's 4-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy.
'Formation' is written by Swae Lee from Rae Sremmurd. The video starts with Beyonce on top of a police car in a flooded street and cuts to a man holding a newspaper with Martin Luther King Jr's face on the cover with the title 'The Truth'.
Last month, Queen Bey starred in the music video for Coldplay's single 'Hymn for the Weekend'.
