Mumbai: Music maestro AR Rahman took to his Facebook page to congratulate India’s Ricky Kej for winning the Grammy award for ‘Winds of Samsara’.
Academy award winner Rahman took to his Facebook page to post:
“Congrats on the Grammy win Ricky Kej You have proved yet again that music is a credible choice, no matter where you are born... Wishing you the best! (sic).”
‘Winds of Samsara’ which symbolises peace and harmony was composed in collaboration with South African musician Wouter Kellerman.
The duo grabbed the Best New Age Album trophy at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards held Sunday.
